Secretary- Pam Jerabek

I was introduced to the Bearing Together Project because TJ and I have a mutual friend in common who has Cerebral Palsy. I have know this person for 8 years now and our family knows what it takes to be care-givers. We are not full-time care-givers for anyone, but when our friend comes to visit, it’s all hands on deck. In getting to know this person, we were given an insider’s glimpse into the daily struggles that anyone with a disability faces. This person has taught me so much about what I and my family have taken for granted for so long. He has made me realize how truly blessed we are and I am forever thankful that he is in our lives.

I am a 51 year old mother of 4 beautiful children (2 boys ages 21 and 19; 2 girls ages 17 and 15). My husband and I have been married for 27 years. We were both born and raised in St. Cloud, Minnesota and lived there until 2014. We moved to Lubbock, Texas and lived there for two years while my husband attended Sunset International Bible Institute to get his preaching degree. We currently live in Creede, Colorado where my husband is a preacher at the Creede church of Christ and have lived here for over 6 years. I have been a stay-at-home mom, homemaker and housewife for most of my life. I started homeschooling our 4 children the fall of 2019.
